If movies have taught us anything, it’s that sharks are relentless killing machines. As a counterpoint, our sibling mag, Huck, travelled to Jupiter, Florida, to meet a man who swims with sharks every day – even bringing his mum along – and has never been attacked. Bryce Rohrer’s no-cage relationship with the sharks is like Chris Pratt’s raptor wrangler in Jurassic World – he gets close enough to pet the predators, but advises not turning your back on them.
Inspired by Rohrer’s finny friends, we’ve compiled a run down of our all-time favourite shark movies scenes. Check them out below alongside Huck’s three-minute video – directed by surfer Mikey DeTemple and featuring National Geographic explorer Cory Richards to promote Finlandia’s work with 1% For The Planet.
